Abstract
Autodestructive (suicidal) behaviors as one of the indications of social pathology are sensitive markers of degree of social integration and are a subject of interest for researchers of many disciplines. In this work we will present 237 cases of 10 to 16 year-old patients that were hospitalized in clinics and hospital pediatric departments in Bydgoszcz. The maintenance or even increase in high incidence of suicidal attempts was proved in this age group.
